Vanilla ‘Kipferl’

This traditional Mediterranean recipe showcases the rich culinary heritage of the region. Using fresh, seasonal ingredients and time-honored cooking techniques, this dish brings authentic flavors to your table.

Instructions

Knead dough ingredients together. Form into a roll, wrap in foil, and chill for 30-60 minutes.

Preheat oven to 190°C (top and bottom heat).

Sift powdered sugar into a bowl and mix with vanilla pulp for the topping.

Form dough into 1cm diameter rolls, cut into 5cm pieces, and shape into crescents.

Place on a tray with baking paper and bake for approx. 10 minutes until golden.

Cool for 3 minutes, then coat thoroughly in the sugar mixture.
