Tuna Burger With Wasabi Mayonnaise And Pickled Vegetable Strips

A delicious traditional Mediterranean recipe passed down through generations, featuring fresh local ingredients and authentic cooking techniques that capture the essence of regional cuisine.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Process all dough ingredients in a food processor to a smooth dough. Leave to rest for 1 hour.

Divide into 24 equal pieces, roll into balls, and place in a greased and floured muffin tin.

Brush with egg and bake for approx. 20 minutes until golden brown. Cover with a damp towel immediately after baking.

Prepare mayonnaise: Mix 200ml sunflower oil, 80ml milk, salt, sugar, and mustard with a blender. Mix in wasabi, soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar.

Cut tuna into cubes and fry briefly in a pan over high heat. Season with salt, pepper, lemon zest, and olive oil. Top the burgers, garnish, and serve at room temperature.
